Our First Splash-in!

On Saturday, April 26th, our dream of hosting our very own Seaplane Splash-In came to life! We welcomed ten beautiful seaplanes (and even a helicopter) at the lake! It was a diverse and enthusiastic crowd of aviation lovers, pilots, friends, and family – everything we had hoped it would be!

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. A gorgeous sunny, Florida day with 90 degree temps and just enough breeze to keep everyone comfortable. Music played as guests relaxed lakeside, enjoying the sights and sounds of takeoffs and landings. Pilots shared stories, new friendships were made, and we served up free burgers and hot dogs for everyone who joined us. As a token of our appreciation, each pilot who flew in received a limited-edition Thomas Landing t-shirt.

What truly made the day special, though, was the spirit of adventure and community that filled the air. From experienced aviators to spectators seeing seaplanes up close for the first time, it was a great reminder of why we started this journey.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came out and helped make this a fun, safe and successful event! We could not have done it without you all. This was just the beginning, and we’re already looking forward to hosting more gatherings that bring people together through aviation, life on the water, and laid-back lakefront fun!
