We are honored to have Thomas Landing Seaplane Base featured in the Fall/Winter 2025 issue of Baker Backroads Magazine!

The story, “Making a Splash at Ocean Pond,” shares how this dream became reality. This amazing journey started with Damon’s childhood memories on Ocean Pond and a love of aviation, and turned into the creation of North Florida’s newest FAA-registered seaplane base (FA92) right here in Olustee. We are deeply thankful to the Baker Backroads team for capturing the spirit of what makes this place special… the camaraderie, the natural beauty of the Osceola National Forest, and the thrill of landing a seaplane on our own slice of Florida paradise.
