On Saturday, April 25th, we welcomed everyone back to the lake for our second annual Thomas Landing Seaplane Splash-In. What a day it turned out to be!

With 15 seaplanes (and a helicopter!) on the water and a dock full of guests, this year’s gathering brought together an incredible mix of pilots, aviation enthusiasts, friends, and families. The variety of seaplanes and the energy throughout the day made it something truly special.

Once again, the weather showed up for us. A classic Florida day with sunshine, warm temperatures, and just enough breeze to keep everyone comfortable. Guests gathered in the water and along the dock, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere as planes came and went throughout the day.

We kept things simple and relaxed, serving free BBQ lunch for all guests and continuing our tradition of providing Thomas Landing t-shirts to pilots & guests who flew in. It’s our way of saying thank you for being part of something we truly enjoy hosting!

Creating a safe and welcoming environment is always a priority for us. With thoughtful planning, clear communication on the radio, and the professionalism of the pilots, everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We’re so pleased to host a gathering that is enjoyed by pilots, guests, and families alike!

More than anything, it was the people who made the day what it was. Conversations between pilots and guests, familiar faces returning, and new connections being made. It all came together in a way that reminded us why we started this in the first place.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out and helped make this such a fun, safe, and memorable day. Your support and enthusiasm mean more to us than we can say.
